摘要
虚拟现实对数字化模型的要求是真实和精细的,但如果计算机渲染时大量使用精细程度的模型,则计算量太大。使用多细节层次(LOD)处理技术可以调度不同精细层级的模型,在特定的情况考虑使用简化的模型代替精细的模型,这样可以提升机器的渲染速度,同时减少图形处理器(GPU)的带宽消耗。这些不同层级的模型,如果由建模人员来建模的话,将是一项繁杂和耗时的工程。通过对多种精简算法进行研究和分析,最终采用迭代网格边坍缩算法作为模型简化基础,利用一系列对比试验得到了不同结构模型的最佳精简参数。不仅可以减少建模人员的工作强度,也极大地节省了成本。
The requirement of virtual reality on digital model is real and fine,but if a large number of fine models are used in the computer rendering,the calculation amount will be too large.Multi-level details(LOD)processing technology can be used to schedule models of different fine levels.In certain cases,simplified models are considered to replace fine models,which can improve the machine rendering speed and reduce graphics processing unit(GPU)bandwidth consumption.These different levels of modeling,if modeled by a modeler,would be a cumbersome and time-consuming project.Through the research and analysis of a variety of simplification algorithms,the iterative mesh edge collapse algorithm is used as the basis of model simplification,and the optimal simplification parameters of different structural models are obtained by a series of comparative tests.This method can not only reduce the work intensity of the modeler,but also greatly save the cost.
