摘要
在数字时代,互联网在教育教学过程中的应用日益广泛,教育不平等的产生机制也变得日益复杂。中国青少年在互联网使用中存在两道数字鸿沟:一是“接入沟”,即家庭背景较好的青少年使用互联网的可能性较大;二是“使用沟”,即家庭背景较好的青少年拥有更加健康和高效的互联网使用习惯。两道数字鸿沟均对教育不平等产生重要影响,“接入沟”的影响表现为中介效应,“使用沟”的影响表现为调节效应。由于互联网在青少年群体中的普及率较高,调节效应是当下互联网影响教育不平等的主要机制。在弥合互联网“接入沟”的同时不断缩小互联网使用方面的阶层分化应是未来公共政策需要努力的方向。
In the digital age,the Internetis widely used in education and teaching,and the mechanism of educational inequality is becoming increasingly complex.There are two digital gaps in the Internet use of Chinese teenagers.One is“access gap”,that is,teenagers from better family backgrounds are more likely to use the Internet.The second is“usage gap”,that is,teenagers from better family backgrounds have healthier and more efficient Internet use habits.Both of the two digital gaps have important impacts on educational inequality.The“access gap”performs as a mediating effect,while the“usage gap”performs as a moderating effect.Because of the high penetration rate of the Internet among Chinese youngsters,the moderating effect is much stronger than the mediating effect.Future public policy efforts should focus on narrowing the social divide in the Internet use and bridging the“access gap”.
