摘要
清代文人小说家李汝珍撰写的《镜花缘》是一部经典神话果报小说。它采用天道轮回、因果逻辑的叙事模式架构故事情节。小说中的百位花仙被纳入宿命轮回,形成了“犯错—惩戒—救赎”的神话叙事模式。《镜花缘》所体现的“因”与“果”,反映了因果伦理与儒学道德传统对清代文人小说创作的影响,具有一定的社会价值、现实意义,也有一定的历史局限性。
Flowers in the Mirror written by LI Ruzhen,a scholar novelist of the Qing Dynasty,is a classic mythological retribution fiction that employs a narrative model of heavenly reincarnation and the logic of cause and effect.In the novel,the hundred flower fairies are included in the cycle of destiny,reflecting the mythical narrative of“wrongdoing-discipline-redemption”.This article illustrates the influence of the ethics of cause and effect and the Confucian moral tradition on the creation of the novels during the Qing Dynasty by interpretation of the examples of“cause”and“effect”in Flowers in the Mirror and making a horizontal comparison with western cause-and-effect philosophy.Ultimately,the social value,realistic significance,and historical constraints of this work are demonstrated.
