摘要
在长久的个人化风格的体系里,艺术家如何保持对作品的自律呢?我时常借助技术的手段将对作品的感受和技术的处理变得陌生。对艺术家来说,艺术发展最大的障碍也许就是熟练。立场与概念:十示系列的创作始于1988年,那个时期中国现代艺术如同整个中国社会,正经历着西方当代文化的冲击与对中国传统文化反思的转折过程中。我需要消除掉自己背负的传统文化的包袱和西方现代主义初期纯绘画性的影响。
Ding Yi is a representative figure of Chinese abstract art,in that not only he distinguishes his works from the traditional Chinese abstract ink painting but also he abandons the complicated cultural connotations and forms for the very simplest.He sees art as a method of expression,without being constrained by national and cultural differences,which should be appreciated by the widest public.He has found a sort of abstract aesthetics by repeatedly using"cross"as a most direct visual effect.Ding wishes to create a piece of art that can be appreciated without usual selfcultivation.It only requires visual response.Colors and plane are the only attraction.
