摘要
从钱玄同日记来看,蔡元培出任北京大学校长之前,“海归”何燮侯和胡仁源主政的北京大学就有意引进留日的章太炎弟子,来挤压桐城派“老朽”。钱玄同与“假章门弟子”沈尹默成为《新青年》同仁,是主编陈独秀主动联络的结果。五四新文化运动中钱玄同不少激进的主张,其思想资源来自鲁迅、周作人等章门弟子,甚至还可以远溯到留日时期所阅读到的巴黎《新世纪》杂志。
Qian Xuantong’s diaries show that before Cai Yuanpei became the president of Peking University,Peking University led by overseas scholars He Xiehou and Hu Renyuan intended to recruit Zhang Taiyan’s disciples studying in Japan to squeeze out the“decadent”members of the Tongcheng School.Qian Xuantong,and Shen Yinmo,the“fake disciple of Zhang Taiyan”,became colleagues of New Youth,which was the result of the active contact of Chen Duxiu,the editor-in-chief of the magazine.During the May Fourth New Culture Movement,many of Qian Xuantong’s radical ideas originated from Zhang Taiyan’s disciples such as Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren,and can even be traced back to the Paris magazine New Century he read during his study in Japan.
