摘要
大学在持续发展的历史进程中形成了多样的隐喻,不同的隐喻基于相应文化语境在一定程度上承载着不同的大学理念,成为对大学认知方式和价值判断的重要表征。基于本体论的哲学视角,对有关大学性质、结构、功能的隐喻进行举隅与分析发现,从“象牙塔”隐喻到“复合体”隐喻的演化中,大学性质理念渐趋整合化,大学本体系统进一步制度化;从“学人共同体”隐喻到“开放社区”隐喻的流变中,大学本体结构经历了从建构到解构的过程,渐趋多元化和开放化;从“镜子”隐喻到“灯塔”隐喻的纷争中,大学功能理念始终面临“适应论”和“超越论”的博弈。大学隐喻呈现出明显的客观流变性、理念遗存性和对立统一性特征,其背后蕴藏了多维度的大学理念纷争和大学本体演化规律。新时代高等教育转型既需要重构大学想象力,也对通过隐喻创新赋能大学本体转型提出了新的要求。
Universities have formed a variety of metaphors in the historical process of continuous development.Based on the corresponding cultural context,different metaphors carry different university concepts to a certain extent and become an important representation of university cognitive methods and value judgments.Through the example and analysis of metaphors related to the nature,structure,and function of universities,the analysis of philosophical perspectives of ontology found that in the evolution from the“ivory tower”metaphor to the“complex”metaphor,the concept of university nature is becoming more and more integrated,and the ontology system is further institutionalized.The evolution from the metaphor of“academic community”to the“open community”shows that the ontology structure of the university has gone through a process from construction to deconstruction that gradually becomes diversified and open.The dispute between the metaphors of“mirror”and“lighthouse”shows that the concept of university function always faces the game of adaptation and transcendence.The university metaphor presents the characteristics of apparent objective rheology,the persistence of ideas,and the unity of opposites.There are multi-dimensional disputes over university ideas and the evolution law of university ontology behind it.The need for higher education transformation in the new era puts forward new requirements for reconstructing university imagination and empowering university ontology transformation through metaphorical innovation.
