摘要
《神农本草经指归》是清代医家戈颂平撰写的一部本草学著作,共四卷,另附“神农本草经附录”一卷,前四卷主要收录《神农本草经》内药物,“神农本草经附录”载药62种,为《神农本草经》之外药物,皆注明出处。书中内容不仅在原文摘录部分涉及《神农本草经》《名医别录》《开宝本草》《本草拾遗》《大明本草》等多部本草著作,在解读部分也参考了前贤如李时珍、陈修园、张隐庵等人的见解,药物排列顺序和具体内容参考了陈修园的《神农本草经读》,释名及方剂承于《本草纲目》,训释源于《康熙字典》。其最大特色是通过解字释词来说明药理,对药物条文的解释,无论是药名、病名,还是药物功效,均与阴阳五行相联系。在药物应用上,常结合自身经验,发别人所未发,言别人所未言,但部分内容仍有可商榷之处,且有些训释过于繁琐、迂回,反倒影响原文理解,书中还有众多解释与现阶段中医认识不尽相同。总之,该书考证详尽,论述合理,虽小有瑕疵,但提供了大量的本草训诂资料,是清代本草学研究的一部有价值著作。
The Guide to Shen Nong′s Materia Medica is a four-volume work on herbal medicine written by Ge Song-ping,a Qing Dynasty physician,with an additional volume of Appendix to Shen Nong′s Materia Medica.The first four volumes mainly include medicines within Shen Nong′s Materia Medica,while Appendix to Shen Nong′s Materia Medica contains 62 kinds of medicines,all of which are ones outside Shen Nong′s Materia Medica and have their origins indicated.The content of the book not only involves several herbal works in terms of the excerpts from the original text,such as Shen Nong′s Materia Medica,Miscellaneous Records of Famous Physicians,Materia Medica of the Kaibao Era,Supplement to Materia Medica,Materia Medica of the Ming Dynasty,etc.,but also refers to the opinions of predecessors such as Li Shi-zhen,Chen Xiu-yuan,Zhang Yin-an,and others on medicine in the interpretation section.The order and specific content of medicine arrangement refer to Chen Xiu-yuan′s Shen Nong′s Materia Medica Reading;The names and formulas are inherited from Compendium of Materia Medica;The interpretation originates from Kangxi Dictionary.The book′s biggest feature is to explain pharmacology through word interpretation.The interpretation of medicine provisions,whether it is the name of the drug,the name of the disease,or the efficacy of the drug,is all related to yin and yang and the five elements.In the application of medicine,Ge Song-ping often combined his own experience to express what others have not expressed.However,some of the contents still have room for discussion,and some explanations are too cumbersome and circuitous,which affects the understanding of the original text.There are also many explanations in the book that are different from the current understanding of TCM.In short,the book is thoroughly researched and reasonably discussed,and although it has some flaws,it provides a large amount of textual research on Chinese herbal medicine.It is a valuable work in the study of Chinese herbal medicine in the Qing Dynasty.
