光载太赫兹信号几何成形算法比较 被引量:1

Comparative of geometric shaping algorithms for photonic-aided terahertz signals

摘要 对比分析了不同的几何成形算法在高斯信道下的互信息增益,将几何成形算法与正交幅度调制(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation,QAM)格式结合,对光载太赫兹通信系统的传输性能进行了研究。基于光载波抑制和单边带调制联合矢量太赫兹信号产生方案,利用广义成对优化算法和低复杂度算法对太赫兹波段为145.6 GHz的矢量信号的传输性能进行了比较研究和仿真验证。验证结果表明,几何成形后信号的误码率性能(Bit Error Rate,BER)总是优于未成形信号,8QAM信号光功率约有0.45 dBm的提升,16QAM信号光功率约有0.54 dBm的提升,32QAM信号光功率约有1.26 dBm的提升。相较于广义成对优化算法,低复杂度算法在互信息增益和误码性能上的优势更明显。 In Gaussian channel,the mutual information gain of the geometrically shaped algorithm is compared and analyzed,the geometric forming algorithm is applied to the quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM)format,combined with the terahertz communication system to study the transmission performance.Based on the optical carrier suppression and single-sideband modulation joint vector terahertz signal generation scheme,the transmission performance of the vector signals in the terahertz band(145.6 GHz)is comparatively studied and simulated for verification by the generalized pairwise optimization algorithm and the low complexity algorithm.The verification results show that the bit error rate(BER)performance of the geometrically shaped signal is always better than that of the unshaped signal.The optical power of the 8QAM signal is improved by about 0.45 dBm,that of the 16QAM signal is improved by about 0.54 dBm,and that of the 32QAM signal is improved by about 1.26 dBm.Compared with the generalized pairwise optimization algorithm,the low-complexity algorithm has more obvious advantages in mutual information gain and BER performance.
