摘要
本文对我国高校英语教师行动研究文献(1999—2022)进行整理和分析。根据发展特点,这一时期可分为初步发展阶段(1999—2010)和加速发展阶段(2011—2022),总体呈现研究数量增长趋势明显,但质量发展不均衡的态势,主要存在以下问题:1)研究数量不足,研究范围有限;2)研究问题不够聚焦,理论基础缺乏适切性;3)研究范式/方法使用不够规范;4)研究的反思性及循环性不足。本文倡导研究者注重理论与实践结合,构建本土特色理论,坚定行动研究信念,加强反思性;同时拓展研究主题和扩大研究者群体,形成“高校英语教师+”的行动研究共同体。
This paper reviews and analyzes the literature of action research conducted by Chinese college English teachers(1999-2022).Research results showed that action research during this period could be divided into two phases—the incubating(1999-2010)and the booming(2011-2022)phase,with an overall developmental trend of obvious growth in research quantity and uneven progress in research quality.Problems existing in the reviewed literature were discussed in four aspects:1)limited number and scope;2)scattered research questions and inappropriate theoretical basis;3)nonstandard research design;4)inadequate reflection and research cycles.The paper suggests that researchers integrate theory and practice in their action research to construct local theory,and strengthen their beliefs in and their reflection on their action research.Meanwhile,research topics need to be expanded and an action research community of“college EFL teacher+”needs to be formed by including researchers other than college English teachers.
