摘要
文章基于烙印理论,以2010—2020年中国沪深两市上市公司为样本,考察高管学术经历与企业环境绩效的关系。研究发现:高管学术经历提升了企业环境绩效水平,其中具有高校学术经历的高管对环境绩效的影响程度最高;国有企业高管会受到社会环境的约束,对环境绩效的提升作用更大;进一步研究发现,当企业拥有具备环境学科背景或海外学术背景的高管时,对企业环境绩效水平的提升作用更大。结论丰富了企业社会责任履行的影响因素研究,也为企业优化高管团队配置和环境管控工作提供了有益启示。
Based on branding theory,this paper examines the relationship between executive academic experience and corporate environmental performance of listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets of China from 2010 to 2020.Research has found that executive academic experience enhances the level of corporate environmental per‐formance,with executives with academic experience in universities having the highest impact on environmental perfor‐mance;state owned enterprise executives are constrained by the social environment,which has a greater impact on im‐proving environmental performance;further research has found that when a company has executives with environmental discipline background or overseas academic background,the improvement effect on the company's environmental perfor‐mance level is higher.The conclusion enriches the research on the influencing factors of corporate social responsibility performance,and also provides useful insights for optimizing the configuration of executive teams and environmental control work in enterprises.
