摘要
赵舒翘二十七岁中进士,榜下分刑部任职,到补授凤阳知府,前后约十年时间。在这黄金十年中,赵舒翘刻苦读律,迅速成为陕派律学的中坚人物。他例案熟悉,引经折狱,律学水平“几与(薛)允升埒”核驳大要案,直声震天下,而又峻洁自淑;解析疑难,议定章程,成就无与伦比。赵舒翘的成就建树,与他深厚的儒学素养,主诚敬、尚笃行的关学熏陶有着密不可分的关系。
At the age of 27,Zhao Shuqiao(赵舒翘)became a Jinshi(successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations).Then he was assigned to the Ministry of Punishments in the Qing dynasty and later served as a supplementary official in Fengyang Prefecture,which lasted around ten yearS.During his golden decade,Zhao Shuqiao studied law industriously and soon became a key figure in"Shaanxi School of law"(陕派律学).He was familiar with previous cases and could cite Confucian classics as the basis of his judgment.His knowledge of the law was"almost as good as XueYunsheng's".He judged significant cases fairly and rose to fame for his integrity.He was virtuous and progressive and made great achievements in resolving difficult legal problems and negotiating legal ruleS.Zhao Shuqiao's achievements are closely related to his profound Confucian belief,kindness,sincerity,respect for others,and the down-toearth edification of Guan Xue.
