摘要
中国散裂中子源(China Spallation Neutron Source,CSNS)漂移管直线加速器(Drift Tube Linac,DTL)负责把H-离子束从3 MeV加速到80 MeV,其工作频率为324 MHz,包含161台电四极磁铁漂移管,漂移管外径140 mm,体积小、结构复杂紧凑。受空间限制,漂移管内电四极磁铁线圈采用先进的SAKAE结构,在一整块无氧铜上初步加工并通过电铸、线切割等工艺完成研制,线圈外径82 mm,内径37 mm,每极3.5匝,该线圈具有体积小、易冷却、励磁电流大等优点,在国内首次研制使用。本文对SAKAE线圈的研制方法进行了研究,并给出了磁铁的测试结果及线圈在高电流下的发热测试与分析。
A 324 MHz Alvarez-type drift tube linac(DTL)is used to accelerate the H-ion beam from 3 to 80 MeV for China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS),DTL contains 161 electric quadrupole magnet drift tubes with outer diameter of 140 mm,small volume,complex and compact structure.Due to space constraints,the quadrupole magnet coil in the drift tube adopts the advanced SAKAE structure,it is preliminarily processed on a whole piece of oxygen free copper and developed through electroforming,wire cutting and other processes.The outer diameter of the coil is 82 mm,the inner diameter is 37 mm,and each pole has 3.5 turns.The coil has the advantages of small volume,easy cooling and large excitation current,it is developed and used for the first time in China.In this paper,the development method of SAKAE coil is studied,the magnetic test and the heating test and analysis of the coil under high current are given.
