摘要
作为专利数据分析结果的重要可视化工具,散点图与热力图各有优劣。通过在散点图的基础上叠加热力图,对二者进行取长补短。首先将散点图中的尺寸变量与实际数值进行解耦,然后设计映射函数来处理散点的实际数值从而得到散点的尺寸变量,最后叠加热力图。所得到的热力散点图能够使数值大小处在不同数量级的散点之间,呈现出尺寸大小的对比,以及数值大小处在相同数量级的散点之间,呈现出颜色深浅的对比,由此取得更好的视觉效果。
As significant visualizing tools for patent data analysis results,scatter charts and heat maps have advantages and disadvantages.In this paper,we learned from each other's strengths and complemented each other's weaknesses:added a heat map upon a scatter chart.First,the size variable in the scatter chart was decoupled from the actual value,and then the mapping function was designed to deal with the actual value of the scatter to obtain the size variations of the scatter,and fi-nally,the heat map was added upon the scatter chart.The obtained heat-scatter chart gave prominence to the size contrast between the scatter spots with different magnitude,and the color contrast between the scatter spots with the same magnitude.Thus a better visual effect was achieved.
