Objective:To analyze the application of blood type detection with microcolumn gel technique in clinical blood transfusion test. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the blood transfusion data of 912 patients who were hospitalized at Hunan Chest Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 and required blood transfusion.Microcolumn gel method and polyamine method were used for cross matching of all subjects. The results of cross matching by two tests were counted. The diagnostic efficacy of the two tests was compared and the blood type identification results were analyzed. Results:Among the 912 patients,15 cases were positive and 897 cases were negative.A total of 11 positive cases and 902 negative cases were detected by microcolumn gel method.A total of 7 positive cases and 905 negative cases were detected by polyamine method. There was no statistically significant difference in the specificity between microcolumn gel method and polyamine method(P>0.05).The sensitivity and accuracy of the microcolumn gel method were higher than those of the polyamine method, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incoincidence and coincidence of positive and negative typing between microcolumn gel method and polyamine method, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Microcolumn gel method has a high diagnostic efficacy in clinical blood transfusion test, and the accuracy of positive and negative typing is high.
