This paper introduces the definition,basic principle,classification and characteristics of mixed reality technology,expounds the advantages of the application of mixed reality technology in radio and television engineering,analyzes the application of mixed reality technology in variety shows,documentaries,news programs,sports programs and other types of programs,and provides referable suggestions for the application of mixed reality technology in various fields.
