摘要
在《地下世界》中,德里罗以几个家庭和人物的成长来呈现20世纪50—90年代美国社会的历史变迁,其中包括女性意识的发展。在这四十年间,美国白人女性经历了女性主体性的苏醒到逐渐建构的过程。以“声景”作为切入点揭示小说中女主人公克拉拉的女性主体性建构过程,不仅能呈现声音描写在小说中的人物塑造功能,更能结合声音与存在的关系思考不同历史时期各种力量在整体结构中的平衡与制约,实现多元化的共存。
In Underworld,DeLillo describes the historical changes of American society from 1950s to 1990s,including the development of female consciousness,from the perspective of the growth of several American families and characters.During these forty years,American white women have experienced the awakening of female subjectivity to its gradual construction.To reveal the construction process of female subjectivity of heroine Clara in the novel by taking“soundscape”as a starting point can not only present the characterization function of sound description in the novel,but also inspire the reflection on the balance and restriction of various forces in different historical periods in the overall structure in combination with the relationship between sound and existence,so as to realize pluralistic coexistence.
