“高邮王父子,栖霞郝夫妇”这桩佳话,盛传于郝懿行在经学和训诂学领域名声大振的晚清。“高邮王父子”指的是经学世家王念孙、王引之父子,“栖霞郝夫妇”指的便是郝懿行和王照圆夫妇。王照圆,字瑞玉,号婉佺。1763年(乾隆二十八年)出生于福山县河北村一个书香门第。王照圆之母林氏是栖霞四大望族之一林家的大家闺秀,知书明理,品性温良。照圆6岁丧父,全靠母亲一手教授《孝经》《内则》《毛诗》等书。随着年龄的增长,她不仅悟性高,而且触类旁通,博览群书,出口成章,崭露头角。
The stories of"the father and son of the Wangs in Gaoyou and the husband and wife of the Haos in Qixia"were widely spread in the late Qing Dynasty when Hao Yixing had a great reputation in the fields of Confucian dassics and critical interpretation of ancient texis."The father and son of the Wangs in Gaoyou"referred to Wang Niansun and his son Wang Yinzhi,from a well-known famlly for study of Confuclan classlcs,and"the husband and wife of the Haos in QIxia"referred to the couple of Hao Yixing and Wang Zhaoyuan.
