摘要
译者阐释是译者在构建译文过程中添加的译者个性化的内容。莫言小说的葛浩文英译本具有突出的译者风格,已成为译界不容忽视的研究热点,从伦理角度探讨其译者阐释不失为翻译研究的新尝试。葛浩文的翻译,既有显性的译者阐释,又有隐性的译者阐释,还有嘈杂的译者阐释。从构建作者、译者和读者之间和谐关系的角度出发,译者阐释应为作者声音的传声筒,而非主基调;译者应限制对原文意义存在叛逆的“弦外之音”,减少不必要的混乱的阐释,以便在翻译中奏出声声入耳的和谐之声。
The translator's interpretation is the personalized content added by the translator in the process of translation.Howard Goldblatt's English translation of Mo Yan's novels has a prominent translator's style and has become a research hotspot that cannot be ignored in the translation cir⁃cle.Exploring the translator's interpretation from an ethical perspective is a new attempt in trans⁃lation research.In his translation,there are three kinds of translator's interpretation:explicit,implicit,and noisy.From the perspective of building a harmonious relationship among the au⁃thor,the translator and the reader,the translator's interpretation should be the microphone of the author's voice,not the main tone;the translator should limit the overtones rebellious to the meaning of the original text and reduce unnecessary noise,so as to play a harmonious sound in translation.
