询问自杀会不会“诱发”自杀风险?自杀筛查和风险评估的医源性影响 被引量:3

Asking Suicide Can't Induce Suicidal Risk:The latrogenic Effects of Suicide Screening and Suicide Risk Assessment

摘要 直接询问与自杀相关的问题是自杀筛查与风险评估的常见举措。然而,包括众多临床研究者、实践者在内的许多人担心询问自杀相关的问题会对当事人带来伤害,如诱发不良情绪、自杀意念,甚至实施自杀行为。本文综述了与自杀问题相关的自我报告法、口头询问或评估性访谈、密集纵向的评估方法的医源性影响,发现直接询问自杀相关的问题,可能会使少量当事人出现短暂的负性情绪,但并不会增加长期的情绪困扰和自杀风险,甚至还有可能让当事人产生治疗性获益。 Asking suicide-related questions is a common practice in suicide screening and risk assessment.However,many people,including clinical psychology researchers and practitioners,worry that asking suicide-related questions may cause harm to clients,such as inducing emotional distress,making them more likely to engage in suicidal thoughts or behaviors.In this article,we introduced the iatrogenic effects of asking suicide-related questions through self-reported measurement,oral questioning or interview,and intensive longitudinal methods,which suggests that there were no serious iatrogenic effects such as increased suicidal risks or long-term emotional distress,but there might have some therapeutic benefits,including the feelings of being listened,gaining self-awareness/insight/new perspectives,reduction in suicidal ideation,and improved social functioning.Nevertheless,some participants reported negative emotional experiences after talking about suicide,namely upset,shame,uncomfortable,embarrassment,depression,and so on,but they anticipated that their distress would be transient and won't last long.
