摘要
数字时代的人际交往突破了传统的面对面交往形式,产生了大量基于互联网的线上社交。线上社交与线下社交成为了数字时代社会资本来源的双重动力,同时产生社会效应。基于对代表性调查数据的实证分析,本研究得到以下结论:首先,与线下社交相比,线上社交能让个体获得更丰富的社会资本,在网络规模、网络差异、网络顶端和网络范围等方面均大于线下社交;其次,数字时代的社交模式存在明显的群体差异,例如,高教育水平和高收入群体更倾向于线上社交,从而在积累线上社会资本方面具有优势;最后,以线上为主的社交模式以及线上线下均衡兼顾的社交模式,均有助于提升社会信任,目前尚未发现存在负面的社会排斥效应。这些发现意味着,数字时代的新型社交模式一方面能有效拓展个体的社会网络资源,提高社会信任;另一方面,社会交往模式的群体差异也提示我们应当重视数字时代的数字不平等、数字鸿沟等现实问题。
Interpersonal communication in the digital era breaks through the traditional face-to-face form of interaction and generates a large number of Internet-based online interaction and communication.Online interaction and offline interaction have become the dual dynamics of the source of social capital in the digital era,producing social effects at the same time.Through empirical analysis based on representative survey data,this study obtains the following findings:first,compared with offline social networks,online social networks enable individuals to obtain richer social capital,which is manifested in the aspects of network size,network diversity,network top and network range,which are larger than offline social networks.Second,there are significant group differences in social interaction patterns in the digital era,such as highly educated and high-income groups are more inclined to online interaction and thus have an advantage in accumulating online social capital.Finally,both online-dominated interaction patterns and balanced offline and online interaction patterns contribute to social trust,and no negative social exclusion effects have been confirmed.These findings imply that new social interaction patterns in the digital era can not only effectively expand individuals'social network resources and improve social trust,but the group differences in social interaction patterns also remind us to pay attention to the realistic problems of digital inequality and digital divide in the digital era.
