摘要
狭义的当代艺术运动兴起于20世纪60年代,至80年代落幕,但它的意义和影响未曾消隐,反而拓展为一个全球性的文化现象。隐而未显的是,当代艺术是以20世纪上半叶西方哲学的重大革新为观念前提的,广义现象学(包括实存哲学、阐释学、解构理论等)构成当代艺术的哲学基础。当代艺术何以是现象学的?因为广义现象学对观念(本质)的直观性的理解,特别是其中所蕴含的直接性、关联性和行动性要求,正是博伊斯所谓“扩展的艺术概念”的基本内容。由此我们就为作为“观念艺术”的当代艺术作了一次辩护;由此我们也可以认为,当代艺术完成了尼采所开启的艺术-哲学关系的重构。
The contemporary art movement in the narrow sense emerged in the 1960s and ended in the 1980s,but its significance and influence have not faded,but rather expanded into a global cultural phenomenon.What is not yet apparent is that contemporary art is based on the conceptual premise of the major renewal of Western philosophy in the first half of the 2oth century,and that phenomenology in the broad sense(including philosophy of existence,hermeneutics,deconstruction theory,etc.)constitutes the philosophical foundation of contemporary art.Why is contemporary art phenomenological?Because the intuitive understanding of concepts(essences)in generalized phenomenology,especially the requirements of immediacy,relevance and action implied therein,is the basic content of what Beuys calls the"expanded concept of art".In this way,we have defended contemporary art as,"conceptual art",and we can also argue that contemporary art has completed the reconstruction of the art-philosophy relationship initiated.
