In order to provide a construction scheme with reference value and guiding significance for the Weiyan Railway to pass through the Fenghuang Mountain old landfill site, this paper used the method of scheme comparison to make a detailed comparison of four schemes, combining with the geological condition of Fenghuang Mountain landfill site and the current construction foundation cost. The subgrade scheme, the tunnel scheme, the through scheme and the high longitudinal section scheme were compared.Considering the project investment, technical difficulty, implementation difficulty, the impact on the surrounding environment and society and other factors, the construction scheme was finally determined as the through scheme. The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The subgrade scheme has low engineering risk and easy control of settlement, but the land occupied is 50%larger than that of the tunnel scheme. The amount of earthwork is 3-5 times larger, and the disposal of waste soil is difficult which requiring more investment.(2)The tunnel scheme has little impact on the environment and society and less investment, but there are bad geological phenomena such as gas around the tunnel, and the construction is difficult.(3)The scheme of raising the profile has little environmental and social impact and less investment, but there are certain technical risks.(4)The through scheme has a great impact on the environment and society, but has little impact on the site road and has the least investment.
