With the continuous intensification of environmental issues worldwide,it is urgent for people to protect the ecological environment.In this context,environmental monitoring,as a key tool and means,can provide in-depth understanding and guidance for more effective response to environmental challenges.The article aims to comprehensively explore the role of environmental monitoring in ecological environment protection,in-cluding its current status,important role,and possible development measures currently and in the future.It provides guidance for in-depth exploration of the root causes of environmental problems and the development of comprehensive solutions.
