摘要
领催是土默特社会的重要基层小吏,他们向下对接普通百姓,向上沟通蒙旗、道厅各级官员,是蒙旗社会中非常活跃的中间群体。领催以佐领为单位,从“有力能应差”的蒙古兵丁中拣选,担负着清查人丁户口、组织比丁当差、管理公共土地、协调民众矛盾等各种职责。随着土默特地区生产方式、居住形态和社会结构的转变,领催也与甲头、会首、甲会等村落社会执事人发生关系,在很多基层事务上彼此沟通,相互协作,在维护蒙旗社会秩序方面发挥重要作用。从领催自身“小历史”的变化,可以管窥蒙旗社会“大历史”的转变。
The Lingcui was the most important officials in the Mongolian banner society.They were the middle group in the Mongolian banner society,who docked with ordinary people downward and communicated with officials at all levels upward.They selected from among the Mongolian soldiers who were“strong and capable”and were responsible for checking the population,organizing services to government,managing the public land and coordinating the conflicts of the people.With the transformation of the social structure of the Tümet region,the Lingcui also had related with the village community rulers such as Jiatou,Huishou,Jiahui,communicated and collaborated with each other on many grassroots matters.We could see the changes of Mongolian banner society from the changes of the Lingcui.
