摘要
沈从文的小说刻画了众多“狗”,其笔下的狗呈现多种类型与形象。沈从文小说描写了与狗相关的活动,表现为民间信仰与饮食文化两个方面。他通过细腻描摹真实再现民俗事象,让读者透过文字了解到一个地区的文化风貌。在小说中,作家将叙事与个人情感相结合,对狗类型作了简要划分,大致可分为作为情感中介的家狗、无所依靠的流浪狗、凶狠强悍的恶狗等三种类型。作家将神采各异的狗的形象审美化,丰富了小说的趣味性。动物形象可作为一种象征符号,这个符号具有暗示性意义。在沈从文的笔下,狗被当作男性的象征,身份低贱者的象征,聪明、忠诚、勇敢的象征。沈从文的小说巧妙地借助“狗”相,使人生事相和自然百态一一尽现。狗的叙事深化了沈从文小说的内涵,成为研读沈从文小说不可忽视的重要部分。
Shen Congwen's novels depict many"dogs",and the dogs in his novels present various types and images.Shen Congwen's novels describe the activities related to dogs,which are manifested in two aspects:folk belief and food culture.He makes readers understand the cultural features of a region through the text by depicting the real folk customs and images.In the novel,the author has made a brief division of dog types based on narrative and personal feelings,which can be roughly divided into three types:domestic dogs as emotional intermediaries,stray dogs with no dependence,and fierce and powerful dogs.The writer aestheticizes the images of dogs with different spirits,which enriches the interest of the novel.The animal image can be used as a symbolic symbol,which has a suggestive meaning.In Shen Congwen's works,dogs are regarded as symbols of masculinity,inferiority,intelligence,loyalty and bravery.Shen Congwen's novels cleverly use"dogs"to make life and nature manifest one by one.The narration of dogs deepens the connotation of Shen Congwen’s novels and becomes an important part that cannot be ignored in studying Shen Congwen's novels.
