摘要
新发展格局下,为促进数字经济发展、赋能中国低碳经济转型,综合衡量数字经济对区域碳全要素生产率的影响,对推动经济绿色发展、实现“双碳”目标具有重要作用。本文以2011~2020年30个省份(不含港澳台、西藏)为样本,从理论和实践两个方面探讨了数字经济对区域碳全要素生产率的影响及作用机制。研究发现:(1)数字经济可以促进区域碳全要素生产率的提高,在调整样本期、剔除直辖市、考虑内生性问题后,该结论依旧稳健;(2)中介作用机制检验表明,数字经济的发展可以通过提高能源利用效率和技术创新水平促进区域碳全要素生产率的提高;(3)异质性分析表明,数字经济的发展对区域碳全要素生产率的影响在高人力资本、高资源禀赋省份以及经济欠发达地区的作用更加显著。本文的研究结论可以为理解数字经济发展对区域碳全要素生产率的影响提供经验证据,为实现碳达峰与碳中和的战略目标提供一定的政策启示。
Under the new development pattern,in order to promote the development of the digital economy and empower China's low-carbon economic transformation,comprehensively measuring the impact of the digital economy on regional carbon total factor productivity plays an important role in promoting green economy development and achieving the“dual carbon”goal.This article uses data from 30 provinces(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Xizang)from 2011 to 2020 as samples to explore the overall impact and mechanism of the dig-ital economy on regional carbon total factor productivity.Research has found that the digital e-conomy can promote the improvement of regional carbon total factor productivity.After adjusting the sample period,excluding municipalities directly under the central government,and con-sidering endogeneity issues,the conclusion remains robust.The mediation mechanism test shows that the development of the digital economy can promote the improvement of regional car-bon total factor productivity by improving energy utilization efficiency and technological innova-tion level.The heterogeneity analysis shows that the development of the digital economy has a more significant impact on regional carbon total factor productivity in high human capital,re-source-based provinces,and economically underdeveloped regions.The research conclusions can provide empirical evidence for understanding the impact of digital economy development and regional carbon total factor productivity,and also provide some policy implications for a-chieving the strategic goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
