摘要
科学评估嵌入全球价值链对地区就业的影响有助于实现区域就业协调发展。本文通过构建城市全球价值链参与度和城市全球价值链参与位置两个测度指标,从城市层面实证检验了嵌入全球价值链的地区就业效应。研究发现:城市全球价值链参与度的提高并未起到促进就业的作用,而城市全球价值链参与位置的提升显著促进了就业,该结论通过了内生性检验和稳健性检验;城市嵌入全球价值链对就业的影响因城市所在区域、城市资源类型的不同而存在差异;就业增长率动态演进的结果表明,全球价值链参与位置对中西部地区城市就业的影响随时间增长呈现先抑制后促进再抑制的动态演进过程,而对东部地区城市就业的促进作用较为稳定。最后,本文发现城市全球价值链参与位置对就业存在非线性影响。
Scientific assessment of the impact of embedding in the global value chain on regional employment can help achieve coordinated development of regional employment.This article empirically tests the regional employment effect embedded in the global value chain at the urban level by constructing two measurement indicators:the participation degree of the city's global value chain and the participation position of the city's global value chain.The study found that the deepening of participation in urban global value chains did not have a promoting effect on employment,while the increase in participation in urban global value chains significantly promoted employment.This conclusion passed endogeneity and robustness tests.The impact of urban integration into the global value chain on employment varies depending on the region and type of urban resources in which the city is located.The results of the dynamic evolution of employment growth rate indicate that the impact of global value chain participation on urban employment in the central and western regions shows a dynamic evolution process of first inhibiting,then promoting,and then inhibiting over time,while the promoting effect on urban employment in the eastern region is relatively stable.Finally,this article finds that the location of urban global value chain participation has a non-linear impact on employment.
