摘要
数字化转型作为企业发展的重要历程,能否通过“科技赋能”为企业高质量发展开辟新路径,助力实现“双碳”目标?本文以2010—2021年中国上市公司数据作为研究样本,采用双向固定效应模型探讨了数字化转型对企业低碳发展的影响。研究结果显示,数字化转型显著促进企业低碳发展。其中,数字技术、云计算技术、大数据技术和人工智能技术的运用赋能企业低碳发展成效显著。异质性分析表明,位于数字金融发达地区和工业机器人普及率高省份的企业数字化转型对其低碳发展的促进作用更大;数字化转型的促进作用在实体行业和高碳行业中更为显著;相对于民营企业,国有企业数字化转型助推企业低碳发展的作用更强。机制分析表明,数字化转型通过增强经营稳定性、缓解融资约束、提高持续研发能力和提高全要素生产率等方式促进企业低碳发展。本文为企业低碳转型发展提供全新视角,为协同推动企业绿色化和数字化“双转型”提供决策参考。
With the rise of new generation information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data,digital technology and physical industries are accelerating their integration and penetrating into various fields of the economy.Digital transformation has gradually become the core competitive advantage of enterprises,and is an important engine driving the improvement of quality and efficiency of enterprises and leading the transformation of China's economic momentum.Meanwhile,through channels of“digitization”leading“greening”,digital transformation enables digital technology to empower high⁃quality development of enterprises,continuously improve the efficiency of green innovation of enterprises,and help to achieve the dual carbon goals.But can digital transformation effectively support low⁃carbon development of enterprises,and what mechanisms will affect low⁃carbon transformation of enterprises?Taking the micro data of Chinese listed companies from 2010 to 2021 as the research sample,this paper uses two⁃way fixed effects model to explore the impact of digital transformation on low⁃carbon development of enterprises.The study finds that digital transformation can significantly promote low⁃carbon development of enterprises.For every 1%increase in the degree of digital transformation,the low⁃carbon level of enterprises increases by 1.458%.For every 1%increase in the level of digital technology,cloud computing technology,big data technology,and artificial intelligence technology,the low⁃carbon level of enterprises increases 1.230%,0.961%,0.830%and 0.501%.Regional heterogeneity shows that digital transformation plays a greater role in promoting low⁃carbon development for enterprises located in areas with leading digital economy and rapid development of intelligent manufacturing.Industry heterogeneity shows that the promoting effect of digital transformation is more significant in non⁃digital industries and high⁃carbon industries.Additionally,compared with private enterprises,digital transformation in state⁃owned enterprises can more promote their low⁃carbon development.Finally,mechanism analysis shows that digital transformation promotes low⁃carbon development by stabilizing production and operation,alleviating financing constraints,improving R&D capabilities,and enhancing production efficiency.This paper provides policy references for accelerating the construction of“Digital China”,We propose the following policy suggestions:Firstly,government departments should strengthen digital infrastructure,break through the data island dilemma and provide a good institutional environment.Secondly,financial institutions should strengthen the development of core technologies,accelerate the upgrading of industrial intelligence and improve the quality and efficiency of green financial services.Thirdly,enterprises should actively optimize production processes,accelerate the improvement of industrial structure and cultivate green and intelligent production methods.
