Cantonese opera, esteemed as a quintessential component of Chinese cultural heritage and recognized by UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, commands a vital educational focus to ensure its enduring legacy. This study introduces an innovative evaluation system for Cantonese opera education, grounded in the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy framework. The system's efficacy was assessed through a pilot program involving teachers and students, aiming to enhance pedagogical practices within this artistic discipline. The semi-structured interviews conducted post-implementation revealed favorable responses, indicating that the proposed evaluation system contributes to the standardization and refinement of educational assessments in Cantonese opera.Beyond the scope of this particular genre, the study offers valuable insights and methodological paradigms for the broader domain of opera education and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
