Postmenopausal osteoporosis refers to a metabolic bone disease characterized by a decrease in bone mass and bone strength in postmenopausal women. It has received attention because of the gradual increase trend of its prevalence.Relevant studies have confirmed that microcirculatory disorders are closely related to bone loss and that modulation of the lymphatic system relieves microcirculatory disorders. However, the importance of the lymphatic system in the study of osteoporosis has not received sufficient attention.Based on the characteristics of postmenopausal patients with osteoporosis, which is characterized by deficiency and stasis,Professor Xiaolin Shi created a strong-bone formula, which takes into account the stasis while tonifying the kidney, spleen, and liver, thus achieving the effect of benefiting Qi and tonifying the kidney, activating blood circulation, removing stasis, and warming the meridians. In this paper,we discuss the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis by improving lymphatic circulation with benefiting Qi and warming channel method based on the theory of deficiency and stasis,in order to provide new research ideas for the clinical treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
