摘要
中华人民共和国成立后,一批著名大学校长作为高等教育领域中的杰出领导者和卓越教育家,在办学理念、教学改革、学科建设和教师队伍建设等方面为大学的发展作出了重要的贡献,对新中国的高等教育影响至深,尤其是他们在教师队伍建设方面的成功经验值得我们学习和借鉴。有高质量的教师队伍才有高质量的高等教育,其教师队伍建设思想的理论精华主要体现在以下几个方面:加强思想政治建设,描就教师队伍的政治底色;重视师德师风建设,锚定教师队伍建设的第一标准;选聘与培养结合,突出教师队伍建设的双重路径;引进来与走出去相结合,强调教师队伍建设的融通视野;教学与科研相辅,明确教师队伍建设的融合发展思路;质量与数量统一,把握教师队伍建设的核心诉求;注重团队建设,强调教师队伍建设的专业逻辑;理论与实践结合,彰显教师队伍建设的方法论;物质与精神兼顾,着力教师队伍建设的基本保障。审视新中国著名大学校长教师队伍建设思想的核心内容及思想智慧,对我国高等教育“双一流”建设背景下高校师资队伍建设具有启示意义。
After the founding of the People’s Republic of China(PRC),a group of well⁃known university presidents have made important contributions to the development of universities in the aspects of education philosophy,teaching reform,discipline construction and teaching workforce construction.They have had a profound impact on higher education in China as outstanding leaders and educators.Their experience in teaching workforce construction,in particular,is of contemporary value for reference.Only high⁃quality teachers can provide high⁃quality higher education.The theoretical essence of their thoughts on teaching workforce construction is mainly reflected in the following aspects.They strengthened ideological and political construction,setting the political undertone for the teaching workforce;attached importance to teachers’morality and working style and established the top criteria for the construction of the teaching workforce;adopted dual pathways to build up the teaching workforce through selection and cultivation,combined bringing in talents with going global,emphasizing cooperation and communication of the teaching workforce;clarified the integrated development of the teaching workforce,with teaching and scientific research complement each other;set clear objectives for the construction of the teaching workforce,keeping the unity of quality and quantity;paid attention to team development,emphasizing the professional logic of teaching workforce;combined theory with practice,highlighting the methodology for the construction of the teaching workforce;ensured that material and cultural and ethical development progress together,focusing on the basic guarantee for the construction of teaching workforce.A review of the essence and wisdom of the thoughts of the presidents of prestigious universities of the PRC on teaching workforce construction can be of reference for teaching workforce construction in colleges and universities under the background of“Double First⁃class”construction of higher education in China.
