Objective To explore the effffect of tracking guidance based on Knowledge Attitude Practice(KAP)theory in eyelid cosmetic surgery. Methods One hundred and six patients undergoing cosmetic eyelid surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group and study group with 53 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group received routine follow-up nursing, and the study group received follow-up guidance based on KAP theory. The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating depression scale(SDS),General Self-Effifficacy Scale(GSES)and Exercise of Self-Care Agency(ESCA)scores before and after intervention were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of postoperative complications of the two groups were analyzed. Results After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in study group were lower than before intervention and control group(P<0.05).the scores of GSES and ESCA in study group were higher than those before intervention and in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications was 3.85%in the study group, which was lower than 21.15%in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of KAP theory based tracking guidance after eyelid cosmetic surgery can improve patients'emotional state,self-effifficacy and self-care ability, reduce postoperative complications.
