摘要
随着人工智能技术的飞速发展,以ChatGPT为代表的新一代人工智能教育应用加速助推了教育数字化转型的进程。作为一款基于自然语言处理技术的语言生成性人工智能模型,ChatGPT更是在外语教学领域产生了重要而深远的影响。它在为外语教学带来诸多机遇与挑战的同时,也引发了学者们的博弈之论。文章通过分析ChatGPT在外语教学中的机遇和挑战,探索了如何充分发挥其辅助外语教学的优势、规避潜在风险、赋能数智化外语教学的有效进路。认为广大外语教育工作者应积极探索数智化时代背景下如何加速外语教育转型,以适应教育数字化战略的发展方向,为培养具有创新思维的高素质外语人才以及推进教育高质量发展做出应有贡献。
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology,new-generation AI education applications represented by ChatGPT have accelerated the digital transformation process of education.As a language generative AI model based on natural language processing technology,ChatGPT has had a significant and profound impact on the field of foreign language teaching.While bringing many opportunities and challenges to foreign language teaching,it has also sparked a debate among scholars regarding its use.This article explores how to fully leverage the advantages of ChatGPT in assisting foreign language teaching,avoid potential risks,and empower effective approaches to intelligent foreign language teaching by analyzing the opportunities and challenges of ChatGPT in this field.Foreign language educators should actively explore how to accelerate the transformation of foreign language education in the context of the digital era,to adapt to the development direction of the digital education strategy,and make due contributions to cultivating high-quality foreign language talents with innovative thinking and promoting high-quality development of education.
