摘要
以中英古典私家园林为研究对象,选取中国明代私家园林拙政园和英国18世纪自然式风景园斯陀园为例,借鉴叙事学理论分析两者的叙事逻辑,并运用横向对比的研究方法,从构建的发端、隐喻、方向和美学四个方面比较中英两国私家园林的相似性与差异性,发现中英园林在寄托情感、宣布政治立场和传达哲学观、人生观等方面存在相似性和差异性,而中英园林的差异则根源于两国的文化差异。通过这种比较研究,可以帮助景观设计师更好地理解园林背后的文化内核,从而重新思考传承传统文化与吸纳外来文化之间的平衡关系。
Taking Chinese and British classical private gardens as research objects,we select the Humble Administrator's Garden,a private garden of the Ming Dynasty in China,and the Stowe Garden,a naturalistic landscape garden of the 18th century in Britain,as examples,draw on the theory of narratology to analyse the narrative logic of the two and use the research method of horizontal comparison to compare the similarities and differences of private gardens of the two countries in terms of the origins of the constructions,the metaphors,the directions and the aesthetics,and find that Chinese and British gardens have similarities and differences in terms of hosting emotions,announcing political stance and conveying philosophical and life views,while the differences between Chinese and British gardens are rooted in the cultural differences between the two countries.Through this comparative study,it can help landscape designers better understand the cultural core behind the gardens,so as to rethink the balanced relationship between inheriting traditional culture and absorbing foreign culture.
