摘要
《中庸》“莫见乎隐,莫显乎微”,当校勘为“莫[不]见乎隐,莫[不]显乎微”。《大学》“十目所视,十手所指”,当校勘为“(十)[二]目所视,十手所指”。“可离,非道也”提出“非道”问题,承接其后的“戒慎恐惧”指向“非道”。“莫[不]见乎隐,莫[不]显乎微”点明“非道”隐、微的特点,进而指出认识“非道”的方法——“慎独”。“慎独”语义维度指向方法论,而不是空间方位、伦理观念。“独”的训诂支持这样理解。《大学》《五行》“慎独”的寓意与《中庸》一致。《五行》“慎独”的阐述最丰富,提出思辨过程中的“轻”“形”的概念具有开创性,仍然具有现实意义。流行“慎独”释读,忽略了校勘、语句贯通关系等语言形态,缺乏对方法论应有的敏感和自觉,忽略了《中庸》《大学》的诚的概念。貌似有理,但不啻郢书燕说。
“Mo Jian Hu Yin,Mo Xian Hu Wei”of Zhong Yong would be collated to“Mo[Bu]Jian Hu Yin,Mo[Bu]Xian Hu Wei”,and“Shi Mu Suo Shi,Shi Shou Suo Zhi”of Da Xue would be collated to“(Shi)[Er]Mu Suo Shi,Shi Shou Suo Zhi”.The object of”Jie Shen Kong Ju”would be“Fei Dao”,the logical subject of“Mo[bu]Jian Hu Yin,Mo[bu]Xian Hu Wei”would be“Fei Dao”too,and“Shen Du”would be the method to recognize“Fei Dao”.This comprehension would be supported upon the investigation of“Du”.The meaning of“Shen Du”would be the same of Da Xue and Wu Xing.Descriptions of“Shen Du”of WuXing would be more richness,and its ideal of“Qing””Xing”would be creativity and useful now.
