In order to explore the allocation of basic education resources in Shenzhen, this paper takes 212 key primary and secondary school education resources and 74 street resident population as the research objects, and analyzes the accessibility of educational resources through GIS spatial analysis technology, based on street scale, which uses kernel density analysis and Gaussian based two-step floating catchment area method. The results show that:(1)The accessibility level of key primary and secondary schools in Shenzhen is generally high in the middle but low in the east and west, decreasing from the middle to both sides.(2)There are obvious differences in the spatial allocation of key educational resources among all districts of Shenzhen. The accessibility of key primary and secondary education resources in all streets of Futian District is better, and the spatial allocation of its educational resources is the strongest;the accessibility of similar education resources in all streets of Pingshan District and Dapeng New District is poorer, and the spatial allocation of their education resources is the weakest.(3)The educational resources of key primary and secondary schools in Shenzhen have presented a distinct gathering center;in the future, the distribution of basic educational resources should be tilted to the east and west parts to realize the optimal allocation of educational resources.
