摘要
甘蔗是种植时间最早的经济作物之一,蔗糖是一种重要的战略农产品物资,对人民生活和国民经济发展具有重要的意义。甘蔗在全球种植范围较广,作为一种喜温喜湿的作物,其种植分布主要受气候条件的影响,在热带亚热带地区种植较为集中,但作为一种经济作物,其种植分布和流通同时也受到政治经济的深刻影响。15~19世纪,世界甘蔗种植及蔗糖生产流通发生了深刻的历史演变,20世纪60年代以来世界甘蔗种植规模扩张显著,蔗糖生产流通受到甘蔗乙醇产业兴起及发展影响明显,新的世界格局已然形成。本文基于已有研究和联合国粮农组织官方数据对世界甘蔗种植及蔗糖生产流通的演变进行了分析,对了解世界甘蔗产业发展具有参考意义。
Sugarcane is one of the earliest cash crops,and sucrose is an important strategic agricultural product material,which is of great significance to people's life and national economic development.Sugarcane is widely planted in the world.As a crop preferring high temperature and much rain,its planting distribution is mainly affected by meteorological conditions,which is concentrated in tropical and subtropical areas.However,as a cash crop,its distribution and cane sugar circulation are also deeply affected by politics and economy.From the 15th to the 19th century,the world sugarcane planting as well as cane sugar production and circulation have undergone profound historical evolution.Since the 1960s,the scale of the world sugarcane planting has expanded significantly.Sugar production and circulation have been significantly influenced by the rise and development of sugarcane ethanol industry,and a new world pattern has been formed.This paper analyzes the evolution of the world sugarcane planting and cane sugar production and circulation based on the existing research literature and the official data of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations,which can provide reference information to help understand the development of the world sugarcane industry.
