八流方坯中间包流场及温度场数值模拟

Numerical Simulation of the Flow and Temperature Filed in Eight Strand Tundish

摘要 随着小方坯连铸机拉速的提高,中间包的冶金功能越来越受到重视。对于高拉速连铸,钢液中夹杂物需控制严格,中间包内钢水温度和成分的均匀性也至关重要。合理的中间包流场不仅可以增加夹杂物上浮时间从而减少钢液夹杂,更有利于均匀中间包内钢液温度及成分。本文基于八流小方坯铸机一体式中间包展开流场、温度场数值模拟计算,计算了三个方案中间包的流场及温度场分布情况。计算结果表明,挡墙、档坝的设计有利于均匀中间包内钢液流场,减少死区13.2%,延长平均停留时间52s。湍流抑制器的设置,将中间包液面附近流速由0.2m/s降低至0.14m/s左右,有效的抑制湍流产生,减少卷渣。 As the casting speed of billet grows up daily,the tundish metallurgical functions are paid more attentions.For high speed continuous casting,the inclusions in molten steel should be strictly controlled,also the temperature and composition uniformity of molten steel in tundish are very important too.Qualified flow field in tundish can not only reduce inclusions in molten steel by increasing the floating time,but also be good to uniform the temperature and composition of molten steel.In this paper,based on the numerical simulation,the distribution of flow and temperature field of the tundish for eight-strand billet caster is calculated.The calculation results show that the design of retaining wall and dam is beneficial to the uniform of the flow field.The dead zone of flow field is reduced by 13.2%,and the average residence time is increased by 52s.The turbulence inhibitor can reduce the flow velocity near the liquid level of tundish from about 0.2m/s to about 0.12m/s,which effectively inhibits turbulence and reduces slag entrapment.
