Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of auricular point sticking on cancer-related insomnia by meta-analysis.Methods The related literature about auricular point sticking therapy for cancer-related insomnia in Chinese and English databases was searched, and the search time limit was from the establishment of the database to August 2023.After screening, data extraction and quality evaluation of the literature,a meta-analysis was conducted by using RevMan 5.4.1.Results A total of 18 studies with 1490 patients were included. The analysis results showed that the total clinical effective rate for cancerrelated insomnia of the auricular point sticking group(study group)was higher than that of the control group, while the score of Pittsburgh sleep quality index of the study group was lower than that of the control group;the subgroup analysis results showed that the effect of auricular point sticking combined with routine nursing of the study group was better than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Of the 6 studies that reported adverse reactions, only 3 patients in 1 study had adverse reactions. Conclusion On the basis of routine treatment, auricular point sticking therapy has better clinical effect and better safety, which is worthy of further clinical application.
