磁共振超短回波时间序列在椎间盘退行性变诊断中的应用研究进展

摘要 磁共振成像(MRI)是诊断椎间盘退行性变(IVDD)的主要影像学检查方法。但腰椎软骨终板(CEP)组织T2较短,导致信号衰减较快,常规MRI不能对其进行清晰的显示。与常规MRI序列相比,超短回波时间(UTE)序列能够清晰显示短T2组织,因此对IVDD表现出较高的检测能力,可对CEP组织进行定性和定量研究,如评估CEP形态学变化、终板的早期病变和钙化、CEP定量值变化与IVDD的内在联系、人工智能在腰椎UTE MRI中的应用。本文主要对UTE序列在IVDD诊断中的应用研究进展进行综述。 Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is the main radiological examination method for diagnosing intervertebral disc degeneration(IVDD).However,the T2 relaxation time of the lumbar cartilage endplate(CEP)is notably short,leading to rapid signal decay that conventional MRI often fails to display with enough resolution.In contrast,ultrashort echo time(UTE)sequences can clearly display and observe with short T2 relaxation time,thus significantly enhancing detection capabilities for IVDD.UTE sequences facilitate qualitative and quantitative studies of CEP tissues,including the assessment of morphological alterations,early lesions and the calcification of the endplate,the exploration of the relationship between CEP quantitative changes and overall IVDD,as well as the application of artificial intelligence in lumbar UTE MRI.This review summarizes the research progress on the application of UTE sequences in diagnosing IVDD.
