摘要
中华典籍的对外翻译史,在学术界向来是研究的热点,亦是难点所在。文章以《明心宝鉴》与《菜根谭》为例,在梳理其外译史的基础上,深入探讨这两本古籍的外译历程,并对比分析其异同点,以此得到启示与反思,旨在重拾对部分启蒙作品的文化自信,令其有史可依,以期对典籍翻译与中国文化海外传播提供有效借鉴。
The historical trajectory of translating Chinese classical literature into foreign languages has been a perennial focal point within the scholarly community,yet it remains a challenging field of study.This treatise,leveraging the translations of Mirror of the Mind and Cai Gen Tan as case studies,meticulously examines the historical context and evolution of these translations.It delves into the translation processes of these two venerable texts,elucidating their commonalities and divergences.Through this comparative analysis,the paper seeks to derive insights and provoke contemplation.The objective is to revive a sense of cultural self-assurance in selecting enlightening works,thereby establishing a historical foundation.This endeavor is intended to offer a substantive framework for the translation of canonical texts and to facilitate the global dissemination of Chinese culture.
