摘要
基于2020年中国家庭追踪调查数据,实证检验户主短视频应用活跃程度对家庭资本的影响机理。研究发现,户主短视频应用活跃程度对家庭社会资本与经济资本产生显著的正向影响。在异质性影响方面,农村以家庭社会资本为主,城镇以家庭经济资本为主;在作用机制方面,通过政治信息传播对家庭资本产生正向影响。数字媒介是文化资本,能够通过向家庭资本转化延伸家庭能力,其文化资本属性揭示了“媒介是文化延伸”的本质。
Based on the 2020 China Family Tracking Survey data,the impact of the frequency of short video application by household heads on household capital was empirically examined.It is found that watching short videos every day has a positive impact on social capital and economic capital,with rural families mainly affecting social capital and urban families mainly affecting economic capital;watching short videos every day can have a positive impact on rural family social capital and urban family economic capital through political information.Short video have a cultural mechanism that transforms family capital,and can generate the power of family development through family advantageous capital,revealing the essence of media as an extension of culture.
