摘要
根据1951年以来的资料分析表明,登陆或严重影响广东的热带气旋(TC)总体呈现出个数减少、强度增强的特点;但自2006年开始,太平洋年代际振荡(PDO)进入冷位相阶段,登陆或严重影响广东的TC出现了个数略增、登陆强度明显增强的新特点。针对因气候变暖导致TC活动异常、灾害加重的特点,需要完善TC防御机制,加强沿海基础设施建设,提高TC防御能力和公众防灾减灾意识。
As shown in the data since 1951,the total number of tropical cyclones( TCs) making landfall on or seriously affecting Guangdong province is decreasing while their intensity is increasing. However,they have increased slightly and intensified substantially as the Pacific Decadal Oscillation( PDO) shifted to its cold phase in 2006. As climate warming causes abnormal TCs activity and worsens natural disasters,mitigating mechanisms need to be perfected to guard against TCs,strengthen the infrastructure on the coast and improve the mitigating abilities and raise the public awareness to prevent and mitigate natural disasters.
