The Development and Applications of Index-guiding Photonic Crystal Fiber

摘要 折射率引导型光子晶体光纤具有许多传统光纤不具有的特点,为光通信及光传感系统的设计提供了一种新的选择。介绍了这类光纤的导光原理、制作方法和最新的研究进展与相关应用。 As a new kind of fiber, index-guiding photonic crystal fibers offer an attractive supplement to conventional fibers for both telecommunication and sensor applications due to their many unusual properties. In this paper, we introduce the waveguide theory and the fabrication of the fibers, as well as the new developments and the relate applications.
