摘要
桃江式锰矿分布于湖南中部桃江、益阳、安化、宁乡县境内,含矿层位为中奥陶统磨刀溪组,为低磷优质碳酸锰矿床.典型矿床有桃江响涛源锰矿床.它是一种受江南岛群与湘赣交界的水下隆起控制的非补偿边缘海中沉积的矿床.本文对桃江式锰矿形成的岩相古地理环境、矿床地质特征、地球化学特征及矿床成因作简单探讨.
The Taojiang Type manganese deposit is a major high-grade manganese deposit of marine sedimentary type. Source materials were of the Yangtze River Sea. Based on geology of the manganese deposits, chemical Composition of ores and isotopes the deposit is geneticly related to algal activity.
