摘要
美国大学的发展历史不过 3 0 0多年 ,却在 2 0世纪成为世界大学的典范。 60 0 0多所各级各类大学在发展定位上不拘一格 ,注重个性化 ,在知识的发现与传播、学生人格的养成以及社会的文明与进步等方面实现各自的价值。成功大学的发展之路并不都是相同的 ,但在把握机遇、与时俱进 ,促进学校的转型 ,从而迈向成功之路这一点上则是共同的。面对新的挑战 ,美国各大学着力营造优质的办学环境 。
The American universities have been considered as models worldwide, although it only has a history of 300 years. There are more than 6000 institutions of higher education, among which each of the institutions holds its own identity of development, each has its own unique character, and each demonstrates its own value in knowledge discovery and dissemination, student personality cultivation and social civilization and progress. The roads for successful universities are not the same, but it is common for them to grasp the opportunity, to advance in accordance with the time, and to transform to a higher level of development. Facing a variety of new challenges, all universities are trying to build an excellent education environment, so that they can produce a new brilliance in the new era.
