摘要
翻译目的论认为,翻译是人类有意图的跨文化的互动活动,译者决定翻译目的,而翻译策略的选择很大程度上依赖于译者的翻译目的。通过对Uncle Tom’s Cabin和《红楼梦》各自两个译本的分析,得出不同历史时代、社会环境、国度和文化等,都会照成译者翻译目的不同,从而采用不同的翻译策略以实现其各自翻译目的。
Skopos theorists hold that translating is a purposeful cross-cultural communicative human activity. The translator in the process of translation decides the purpose of translation. Through the analysis of the different versions of Uncle Tom ’s Cabin and《红楼梦》,it come to the conclusion that different historical periods, social situations, nations and national cultures, etc, may result in different purposes of translation and make the translator adopt different translation strategies for their purposes.
