摘要
校名英译研究近几年才开始,多关注其混乱的现状,鲜有研究校名英译中以音译为主的异化现象。该文讨论了高校英译名异化翻译的现象和优缺点,提出其对跨文化交际的影响并给出建议。
The translation of tertiary institutions' names has begun to draw the researchers' attention to its chaotic situation,butfew studies focus on the foreignization.This paper discusses this phenomenon and its pros and cons,and further indicates its im-pact on cross-cultural communication and some suggestions.
