摘要
海南省作为国际旅游岛,在旅游经济蓬勃发展的同时,会展经济也在如火如荼地发展着。随着海南省会展业向国际化发展,语言,尤其是英语,在会展过程中有着举足轻重的作用,它承载着参展双方的洽谈和交流等重要作用。在国际会展业飞速发展的今天,作为世界通用语的英语也需要与时俱进,为会展的顺利成功的举办提供保障和便利。促使翻译工作者能够更好地掌握会展中英语的语体特征和翻译模式,提高翻译工作者的翻译效率和准确率,也是海南省会展业更好发展的一大重要因素。本文主要分析在会展中使用的词汇、句子,探讨会展英语的翻译技巧,并为会展翻译工作者日后工作提供新策略。
As an international tourism island, exhibition economy in Hainan province is in the vigorous development at the same time under the development of tourism economy. With the international development of exhibition industry of Hainan province, language, especially English, has a pivotal role in the process of the exhibition. It bears an important role in participation on both sides of the negotiation and communication. English, as a lingua franca, also needs to keep pace for providing security and con-venience for successful exhibition. Improving the efficiency and accuracy of translation is also an important factor in the devel-opment of exhibition economy of Hainan province. This article mainly analyzes the use of words and sentences in the exhibi-tion. It could explore the exhibition English translation skills to provide new strategies for exhibition translators in the future work.
