摘要
OyuTolgoi斑岩型铜金矿床达世界级规模,正在大规模勘探中。矿床位于蒙古南戈壁沙漠中,离中蒙边界80km。矿床由西南部、南部、中部和远北部4个矿化区组成。文章介绍了该矿床的勘查历史、地质概况和4个矿化区的主要特征,并指出勘查该矿的方法可供在戈壁地区寻找隐伏半隐伏斑岩铜矿借鉴。
The Oyu Tolgoi porphyry Cu-Au deposit is located in the Gobi Desert of Southern Mongolia, and just 80 km to the boundary between China and Mongolia. It is a world-class deposit and just under detailed exploration drilling. The deposit consists of four main mineralizing zones, e.g. Southwest, South, Central and Far North Oyu zones. This paper introduced the exploration history, geological background and main features of the deposit. It is suggested that the prospecting methods applying in the deposit can be used for reference in seeking concealed and half-concealed porphyry Cu deposit in the Gobi or desert.
